Dr. Howard Graney Collection

 

Dr. Howard Graney graduated from Des Moines Still College of Osteopathy (DMSCO), now known as Des Moines University, in 1933. After graduating, Dr. Graney was very involved in the Osteopathic Medicine profession. He served on the DMSCO Board of Trustees and taught in the classroom and at Des Moines General Hospital.

Later in his career, Dr. Graney served as president and member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS). He also became Chief of Surgery at Des Moines General Hospital where he held that title for more than three decades.
