Dr. Julius L. Abramsohn, D.O. was a veteran of WWII. After serving in the Marines, Dr. Abramsohn graduated from Des Moines Still College of Osteopathy and Surgery (known today as Des Moines University) in 1952. He then practiced for 38 years in Guthrie, IA. He has also served on DMU's Board of Trustees.

Dr. Abramsohn's Medical Bag
A black leather Emdee by Schell medical bag that once belonged to Dr. Julius L. Abramsohn of Guthrie Center, Iowa. The Doctor's name is printed on the top of the bag. Engraved on a small plaque at the top of the bag is "Patent No. 2293363 Emdee by Schell". Tied by small rope on the handle of the bag is a key. A patented snaplock in an envelope is inside the bag.
