Abstract
Objectives & Focus Areas
My capstone project consists of building and refining clinical skills in the pediatric setting through clinical experience as well as program development and evaluation by increasing the availability of group therapy programming at ChildServe.
- Partner with ChildServe to develop a program that meets the specific needs of the setting, including the number of patients, available resources, staff, and facility requirements.

Partner with the ChildServe therapists to increase available social groups for individuals receiving occupational therapy services.

Work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to carry a parttime caseload within a pediatric setting to diversify experience within the pediatric population.

Enhance clinical skills, professional communication, and critical thinking by gaining clinical exposure/observation in a specialized pediatric setting.

Enhance personnel skills in relation to identifying as a professional, communication, leadership, program development, and skill building.
