Abstract
Objectives

I will demonstrate in -depth competence by conducting client evaluations, developing client-centered interventions, educating clients, families, and staff, and promoting aging in place with smart technology in an ethical manner.

I will promote occupational justice by understanding barriers, demonstrating cultural humility, and being client-centered when developing assessments to meet the needs and preferences of diverse aging adults.

I will demonstrate the occupational therapy domain and process by utilizing evidence-based assessment and interventions that are backed by theories and frames of reference that could be tested when implementing the program of exploring smart technology’s benefits that are relevant for aging adults' occupations.

I will demonstrate by communicating with various professionals, including but not limited to other occupational therapists, social workers, employees of Habitat for Humanity, and other disciplines, to gather insights that will contribute to the design of the future program of implementing smart technology into housing projects.

I will lead and advocate for the future implementation of this program by developing and creating educational materials and strategic plans that highlight the value of supporting aging in place and the potential benefits that smart technology could have with home modification for aging in place.

I will continue to analyze current research based on smart technology and aging in place, and identify any gaps and obstacles that could influence the proposed program.

I will complete a comprehensive proposal that Habitat for Humanity can implement with minimal issues, ensuring a smooth commencement of the program.
